& \Rightarrow \quad \frac{C_p}{C_V}=1+\frac{R}{C_v} \
\end{aligned}$$
Here, $$\frac{R}{C_v}=0.4$$ and also, $$\frac{C_p}{C_v}=1+\frac{2}{f}$$
$$\begin{aligned} \Rightarrow \quad 1+\frac{2}{f} & =1+0.4 \ 	ext{or}\quad \frac{2}{f} & =0.4 \ 	ext{or} \quad f & =\frac{2}{0.4}=5\end{aligned}$$
As, degree of freedom is 5, so the gas is made up of molecules which are rigid diatomic (no vibrations).
