 resistance in the right gap at a point which divides the bridge wire in the ratio 3:2. If the length of the resistance wire is 1.5 m, then the length of 1 $$\Omega $$ of the resistance wire is :

Initially, $${P \over {10}} = {{{l_1}} \over {{l_2}}} = {3 \over 2}$$
$$ \Rightarrow $$ $$P  = {{30} \over 2} = 15\Omega $$
Now Resistance, $$R = {{{ho l}} \over A}$$
$${{{R_1}} \over {{R_2}}} = {{{l_1}} \over {{l_2}}}$$
$$ \Rightarrow $$ $${{15} \over 1} = {{1.5} \over {{l_2}}}$$
$${l_2} = 0.1m$$
$$ = 1.0 	imes {10^{ - 1}}m$$
