Fringe width, $$\beta  = {{\lambda D} \over d}$$
Now, $$d' = {d \over 2}$$
 and $$D' = 2D$$
So, $$\beta ' = {{\lambda (2D)} \over {d/2}} = {{4\lambda D} \over d}$$
$$\beta $$ = 4$$\beta $$
