Let $A$ be : ${ }_z A^A$
In $\mathrm{A} ightarrow \mathrm{B}$ decay, ${ }_2 \mathrm{He}^4$ is released
$	herefore \quad \mathrm{A} ightarrow \mathrm{B}$ is alpha decay reaction
$	herefore \quad{ }_z \mathrm{~A}^{\wedge} ightarrow{ }_{z-2} \mathrm{~B}^{\wedge-4}+{ }_2 \mathrm{He}^4$
In $\mathrm{B} ightarrow \mathrm{C}$ decay, $2 \mathrm{e}^{-}$is released
$	herefore \quad \mathrm{B} ightarrow \mathrm{C}$ is $\beta^{-}$decay x action
$$ \mathrm{z}-2 \mathrm{~B}^{\mathrm{N}-4} ightarrow{ }_{\mathrm{z}} \mathrm{C}^{\mathrm{\Lambda}-4} $$          ( $\because$ As each $\beta^{-}$decay increases Z by 1 )
